Question:  What effects is a therapeutic laser known to have?

Therapeutic lasers are known to:

  • increase circulation by dilating blood vessels,
  • accelerate the metabolizing mitochondria that convert food to energy (this accelerates the healing process).
  • dilate lymphatic vessels to exhaust edema and drain noxious chemicals.
  • increases endorphins (that relieve pain and relax smooth muscles).

Question: What is the wong way tm medical method?

The wong way is both a theory and a procedure for ending pain. It does not accept that the source of a pain cannot be diagnosed and drugs must be used to block pain (manage pain).  The wong way theory identifies that the true source of the pain more likely is an unknown, remote injury site that goes undiagnosed and never heals properly. The pain is experienced in a different site since nerves are known to follow pathways.

Question: Why is the wong way tm medical method so special?

Because we diagnose the pain properly, treat the target point instead of the trigger point using a powerful therapeutic laser, and then immobilize the soft tissue through a healing period.

Question: I hear about treating trigger points but what is the target point? An authoritative clinical study was conducted where an irritant (saline solution) was injected into various vertebrae into volunteers. The researchers observed that the volunteers identified pains not at the vertebrae (target point) but in their arms (trigger point). What this means is that an injury site at the vertebrae can cause a pain far away from the true site of the injury.

It would be absurd to treat these volunteers’ arms when the true irritants are at the spine! BUT, this is done 1000 times every day. That is what makes the wong way tm medical method so effective. We treat the injury site (target point)!!!

Question: Does this mean the wong way tm medical method can end pain without drugs?

Exactly. No longer is a patient destined to suffer a lifetime of failed diagnoses and a regiment of pain management.

Question: Does this mean the wong way tm medical method -when applied early to an injury- COULD eliminate the need for surgery? Exactly. When surgery works that means the surgery removed the offending tissue. But often, surgery misses the target point and the patient suffers only to be referred to physical therapist and a lifetime of drugs.

Question: Does this mean that if surgery does not remove the actual injury, physical therapy could aggravate the injury?

Yes! As an example, back surgery has a troubled success ratio. Many knee replacements fail to remedy the pain. Later in physical therapy the injury is still causing undiagnosed pain that is simply blocked!

Question: If the wong way tm medical method is so effective, why don’t I hear about it?

You are...right now!  But, anything truly new must overcome tremendous skepticism. In America, patients believe in drugs but are leery of medical devices.

The lasers that are in the marketplace today have a fraction of the output power that we provide. This is because we have taken an engineering approach to create a large powerful beam, to provide a beam of energy to penetrate deep into the injury site.
